Located in the Caribbean, Bonaire one of the ABC islands is well known as one of the premier locations in the world of diving. There are over 86 charted dive sites and some of the best shore diving in the world. Reefs are teaming with dazzling fish, incredible visibility, and spectacular drop-offs. Boat rides are generally within 15-minutes of the resort. Gentle trade winds in Bonaire make for a great Caribbean vacation.

Accommodations: Plaza Beach Resort Bonaire is an ocean front resort offering a beautiful swimming pool next to their private beach where you can dive, snorkel or just relax in the warm blue ocean. Plam beach bar offering included drinks and snacks, meals at the Tipsy Seagul all-inclusive buffet restaurant. You can relax with a spa or beauty treatment at the Beverly Bio Aesthetics day spa on the property. Toucan Diving is the complete Dive Center at Plaza Beach Resort. Enjoy snorkeling and diving the famous house reef 18 palms in front of the resort. Town is only a short distance away for shopping and great restaurants.

Everyone’s safety and enjoyment is paramount. Industry training standards state that “depending on level of certification, and for the safety of everyone, teams of (3) are required”. This standard directly relates to the adaptive divers ability to rescue a dive buddy in an emergency situation. Therefore (2) trained dive buddies are required for each adaptive diver.

Two trained dive buddies fee is $800 for all adaptive divers. For each trained dive buddy there is an additional $400 fee.

An Adaptive Diver bringing their own certified dive buddies (HSA or equivalent, Rescue Diver or higher rating, with experience diving with Adaptive Divers) does not need to pay an extra fee as long as they have (2) adaptive trained buddies.

Dive buddies provided by A-1, as described above, intending to be a Dive Buddy for an Adaptive Diver may subtract $400 from their package price. This is based on a first come first served basis as needed and dependent on the number of Adaptive Divers needing trained dive buddies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: A valid passport that does NOT expire within 6 months of return date. Special documentation requirements for children under 18. Minor’s must have a signed notarized letter from any parent(s) not traveling with them.

NOTE: A $400 deposit is required to hold your spot. Space is limited. Prices are based on double occupancy and are subject to change. Single persons will be subject to additional charges. Please be aware the airline or operator may impose a fuel or tax surcharge over which we have no control, an additional fee may be charged prior to departure. Changes to package and cancellation penalties do exist. Full payment is due by April 3, 2024.
