There is no “free diving” permitted, for your and the animals safety. We only allow surface swimming, the animals will come to you.

What will we wear in the water?

For the snorkel you will be wearing mask, fins and a snorkel, a 3mm wetsuit, gloves, hood and a snorkel vest.

What if I am not a good swimmer?

You do not need to be able to swim well but should be comfortable in the water, the more comfortable you are in the water the more you will enjoy the snorkeling experience.

This being said, sometimes the animals do make contact with the guests but is usually a miscalculated swim-by. You will cover the entire length of the 400,000 gallon exhibit during your dive. Our dives are rarely the same twice so each dive is unique and exciting!
