This program provides an in-depth and detailed study of the aquatic environment, diving equipment, physics, physiology, and decompression theory. It is required training for most SSI Dive Professional programs, as well as some Extended Range programs.
Science of Diving Specialty Course
Description
Your Science of Diving adventure starts by completing the 5 sessions in your online learning. Next, there will be a classroom session to answer any questions you may have about the material, clarify important points, and review the digital final exam you took on your own. This course is designed to accompany the Science of Diving part of the Divemaster program, or can be taken as a standalone course for those who really want to get into the scientific details of diving.
