CHATFIELD STATE PARK HOW DO YOU GET THERE?
Please note: IT IS ILLEGAL TO PARK ALONG ANY ROAD. THE RANGERS STRICTLY INFORCE THIS POLICY AND WILL QUICKLY PROVIDE YOU WITH A NASTY TICKET. WHEN DO YOU DIVE?When you sign up for your open water training dives an A-1 crewmember will let you know the times of your dives. In addition, your instructor will be in contact and give you all the juicy details. WHAT HAPPENS ONCE YOU GET TO THE SITE?Once you've unloaded your equipment and parked your car an A-1 crewmember will fill you in. This will include: a site orientation, dive briefing and before you know it you'll be blowing bubbles. It's not the Caribbean but it's close to home, economical and fun. WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?You're not going camping so you really don't need to bring a lot from home. We recommend the following:
WHEN TO PICK UP YOUR DIVING EQUIPMENT?You are welcome to come by the dive store and pick up your rental gear (BCD, Regulator, Gauges, Alternate Air Source, Weight Belt, Weights, Wet Suit, Dive Bag and Tanks) any time after 3:00 pm on the preceding Thursday or after 10:00 am on the preceding Friday. Please return all of your equipment no later than the day after your open water training dives - clean and dry please. Note: We do not provide mask, snorkel, booties, fins, wetsuit, BCD or Regulators for open water training dives. These items can be rented. At A-1 we believe in exceeding our customer's expectations. It is our commitment to excellence that allows us to provide you with the quality, great service, safety and enjoyment you deserve.
